Abigail earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Erskine College in Psychology and her Master of Arts degree from The Citadel in Intelligence and Security Studies. Her background includes work in behavioral therapy and mentoring students of all ages and stages.
She has been with Hopscotch since 2022. In her first role as Document Specialist, she assisted families with their country specific dossier documents along with their I-800a, I-800, I-600a, I-600, DS-260 and Embassy Visa appointment related questions. She also served as liaison, on behalf of our client families, with USCIS and significantly contributed to maintaining documentation for compliance for Hopscotch’s Hague Accreditation, North Carolina licensing and New York authorization compliance requirements.
As Hopscotch’s Associate Director of Clinical Services, Abigail is responsible for reviewing and approving pre-placement assessments (home studies) and will be coordinating all post-adoption reports, ensuring these critically important reports are sent abroad in a timely manner. She is also responsible for the clinical related services and supervises the delivery of all clinical services within the adoption process. Abigail enjoys reading, traveling, baking, and spending quality time outdoors with her husband and their dog, Ted.
