Janelle joined Hopscotch Adoptions with an abundance of experience, 17 years to be exact, in office management. Her background stems largely from managing legal offices, bookkeeping, and legal secretary duties.

Janelle’s experience in assisting in the preparation and drafting of documents for submission to the court included complaints, answers, motions, discovery and disclosures, drafts for trial documents including metrics, charts, exhibits, witness lists and computations. Janelle also assisted in the coordination of preparing clients and/or witnesses for trials and depositions and has vast experience in researching applicable Federal and State laws and statutes of precedent cases. With all of this practical experience, imagine how lucky we are to have her with us at Hopscotch, keeping us all in ship shape!

Janelle’s commitment to families and children, accompanied with her passion for strong operational organization and efficiency, is an integral of Hopscotch maintaining compliance with Hague regulations and both New York and North Carolina State laws and regulations. All financial and business matters can be addressed to Janelle.

Janelle is the heart of Hopscotch! Janelle is fluent in Spanish and originally hales from New York. Janelle is a fabulous baker, lover of all music and dance! She is married; and together they have two wonderful young sons.
